How To Use

Kodo Millet Khichdi- Soak moong daal and millets for 2 hours and then drain it.In a cooker heat ghee, mustard and cumin seeds, then add ginger garlic and green chili. After few minutes add tomato, spices and salt to taste.Now tranfer daal and millets with 3 cups of water. after 4 whistles turn off the heat and serve hot with little Ghee.

Kodo Millet Pulao- soak kodo millet for 30 minutes. In a pressure cooker add ghee, mustard seeds, ginger, garlic, green chili and after few minutes add vegetables.When the vegetable is soften add salt and drained kodo millet. Let the pulao steam for 2 to 3 whistles, then serve hot kodo millet with Raita or Chutney.

Kodo Millet Dosa and Idli- Soak Kodo millet, Urad daal,and fenugreek seeds for 6 hours. Drain them and add salt then grind them using less water.Now heat the tawa for dosa and pour the batter properly using oil. For Idli grease the mould with oil pour the baater in level and let it steam for 10 min. Enjoy your Dosa/Idli with coconut Chutney.
