How To Use

Foxtail Millet Pulao- Soak 1cup of Foxtail millet in warm water fo1r hour.Heat refined oil in a pan and add spices and Ginger paste.When they are roasted add some veggies and roast them till the veggies become soft. Now add water and salt and bring it to boil, add drained millets and cook them on a low flame. Serve hot with any Raita.

Foxtail Millet Lemon Rice-Boil a cup of millets and 2 cups of water in pressure cooker. Now heat oil in a pan and add mustard seed, peanuts and Urad daal. When roasted add curry leaves, chilles, turmeric powder and ginger and stir for few seconds. Now add veggies and salt and stir them.Add boiled foxtail millets and few drops of lemon.

Foxtail Millet Upma- Heat Oil in a pressure cooker,add mustard seeds and split urad daal. When the daal turns brown add green chili, onion, and ginger and saute it.Add curry leaves,Turmeric powder, veggies, a cup of foxtail millet, salt and 2 cups of water. Cook the millets for 5 to 6 whistles. Add coriander leaves and few drops of lemon.
